Connecting elements are used to connect various devices. Examples of connecting elements are shackles, turnbuckles, special chains and swivels. Shackles consist of two quickly separable individual parts, the shackle body and the bolt for direct connection of the load to a lifting device or other load handling attachments. Turnbuckles are devices with a left-hand thread on the one hand and a right-hand thread on the other for connecting and tensioning two components. Special chains and swivels can be used in many ways.
