Turning unwieldy and heavy workpieces is often a very dangerous business and involves considerable risks. The risk of accidents is high in the case of improper turning manoeuvres: the workpiece is damaged in load crashes and, in the worst case, personal injury can also occur. The ROTOMAX® load turning devices, which can be used to turn bulky workpieces safely and gently, offer a remedy here. The workpiece can be stopped in any position for inspection and reworking. The operator controls the turning process himself from a safe distance, e.g. with a radio remote control.
ROTOMAX® load turning devices are manufactured for various applications, e.g. for turning machine bodies, ship diesel engines, welded constructions, casting boxes for the foundry industry, etc.
