Lashing straps are chemical fibre lashings consisting of a webbing and a tensioning element. They can also be divided into three sections: lashing straps with clamping buckle, pressure ratchet or tension ratchet. For the correct selection of a lashing strap, in addition to this subdivision, particular attention should be paid to the lashing force, the useful length and the various connecting means in two-part designs.
