The SBT Series hydraulic preload cylinders with inch sizes offer all the features and benefits of our standard STS series, but with the added benefit of a hydraulic spring-loaded piston return. Designed primarily for topside applications, this additional spring-loaded piston return significantly reduces pin tension cycle times by automatically retracting the pistons as hydraulic pressure decreases. The range currently consists of 22 models, suitable for standard pin sizes from 11/4" to 4" inches diameter. The versatility of the SBT Stud Cylinder range is the same as our standard STS range with a wide selection of interchangeable thread pullers and nut rings, either as a conversion kit for different stud sizes or as individual parts. All SBT preload cylinders are equipped with a wear resistant coated piston, a maximum stroke indicator, self-activating high pressure seals and dual quick couplings for easy connection of multiple preload cylinders at a maximum operating pressure of 1500 bar.
