The HFG series of failsafe cylinders with adjusting ring combine the versatility and efficiency of hydraulic power with the safety of a mechanical load-holding function. They are ideal for applications where the load needs to be supported for long periods of time, such as bridge work. The HFG series features a single-acting load retraction cylinder with a full-length thread for the mechanical load setting ring. Simply lift the load up and turn the mechanical collar down to the cylinder body. Then relieve the hydraulic pressure and support the load mechanically. All models are only suitable for vertical stroke and are equipped with movable pressure pieces as standard to reduce the risk of side loading of the cylinder.
