Product description

The simple and cost-effective solution prevents nasty surprises when unlocking the container door

When opening a container, the unloader knows what the container has loaded, but not what it looks like behind the doors. If cargo has come loose or moved during transport, it can exert pressure from the inside on the door of the container.
If a container door is unlocked, the cargo can suddenly open the doors and injure the persons standing in front of it. The new CTUCode therefore recommends opening with a safety belt.

Functional principle of securing via the locking bars:
The locking bars of both door halves are connected by a one-piece lashing strap with push-in buckle before a door is opened. If the door is under pressure from the inside after unlocking, it can only open a gap limited by the belt. The door is held in place by the CTUXafe safety belt. Now the user can take a suitable safety measure to safely open the door. The unloaded belt can then be removed from the door.

Requirements fulfilled by the SpanSet CTUXafe:
The belt has a breaking force of 1.8 t and thus a maximum holding force in the strapping of 3.6 t. The installation is simple and quick. CTUXafe is inexpensive and, in contrast to the diagonal securing device, can be used without any further aids.
