Energy absorber for ASAP (European version) or ASAP LOCK
The ASAP'SORBER energy absorber is designed exclusively for use with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK fall arrester. It allows the user to work away from the rope to protect it during the working phases. The lanyard fall arrester is placed in a sheath that can be opened at the ends. The energy absorber is thus protected from abrasion and can be regularly inspected. It is available in two lengths to allow an optimal compromise between the distance from the rope and the reduction of the fall height.
- Is used exclusively in combination with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK fall arrester that travels with the rope.
- Allows the user to work away from the rope in order to:
- have a free working area
- Protect the rope from sharp-edged tools and rough support points.
- Absorbs fall energy in the event of a fall:
- By tearing the webbing of the fall absorber, the impact force exerted on the user is reduced.
- Designed for users weighing between 50 and 130 kg.
- The durable fabric cover with an opening system at the ends protects the shock absorber from abrasion and splashes and allows regular inspection of the shock absorber.
- STRING-equipped ends keep the connector in place and protect the webbing from abrasion.
- Available in two lengths to allow an optimal compromise between distance from the rope and reduction of fall height.
