IKAR self-retracting lifelines with rescue lifting device (type HRA) are fitted with a winch unit. Following a fall, this winch unit can be easily engaged by a second person, for example in the event of unconsciousness due to gases in shafts and sewerage systems. The accident victim can therefore be saved quickly and safely. The rescue lifting device has an integrated energy-absorbing function, as required by the new European harmonised standard EN 1496. The entire unit is constructed from stainless steel, aluminium or impact-resistant plastic. The different wire rope lengths make the right device available for any use.
