ABS ASK 8 is a horizontal anchorage device according to EN 795 Class B + C for temporary use, especially during a connection of two X-FLAT anchorage points on containers.
Also for a use on flat- and steep roofs by latching to preinstalled anchorage points. A 12 mm diameter kernmantle rope is the basis for the horizontal lifeline system. The fall protection sytem is permitted for a maximum distance of up to 21 meter without intermediate brackets, at a attachment to two solid attachment options (e.g. steel beam) if necessary, because the kernmantle rope stretches less than a common rope during a fall. Therefor the fall distance will be extremely reduced.
