The Green Pin® Super Shackle with Safety Bolt, Nut and Pin from Carl Stahl is engineered for ultra-heavy-duty lifting tasks where safety and performance are non-negotiable. Built from Grade 8 high-tensile steel, this shackle offers an increased working load limit compared to standard models. The triple safety locking system — bolt, nut, and cotter pin — ensures secure fastening, making it ideal for critical lifting operations in construction, offshore, and industrial environments. Hot-dip galvanised for excellent corrosion protection, it meets and exceeds international safety standards, including EN and ASME certifications.
• Material: bow and pin in alloy steel, grade 8, quenched and tempered • Safety factor: Minimum breaking load = 5 times WLL (load capacity) • Standards: meets performance requirements of US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 3, Grade B • Surface: hot-dip galvanised • Certificates: On request a works test certificate, certificate of basic raw material, manufacturer’s test certificate and CE certificate of conformity are available. All shackles starting from 150 tons come with a Lloyd’s Register of Shipping proof load certificate.
