The gripper cheeks of the rectangular profile pliers are provided with a largely abrasion-resistant protective coating. They are particularly suitable for transporting goods made of steel, concrete and wood. A prerequisite for proper gripping, however, is that the material to be gripped is free of grease and oil. The pressing force of the pliers is such that the friction factor between the protective covering and the material to be gripped must not be less than 0.75 µ. In the case of oily grab goods, please contact us separately. All rectangular profile pliers are equipped with a hold-open lever.
We manufacture all intermediate sizes, also with higher load capacity and wider gripping range. For oily or moist material, the gripper cheeks can be equipped with hardened rosettes as a special service.
