The Safe Descent is an innovative descent and rescue device with lifting function ideal for use as a work and emergency device on installations such as wind turbines. The patented backstop in combination with the hand wheel enables the rescue of injured persons. The lifting function allows the safety chain to be relieved or power to be transferred to the Safe Descent for subsequent safe lowering.
