The Electromagnet BM 5.000kg 25mm is a high-performance battery lifting magnet designed for the safe and efficient handling of ferromagnetic materials in demanding industrial and fabrication environments. With a maximum lifting capacity of 5.000kg achieved at a material thickness of 25mm, this magnet delivers powerful and reliable performance when lifting flat steel components.
Designed for high safety standards, the BM lifting magnet provides a break-away force of at least three times the rated working load limit, ensuring secure load holding during lifting operations. It is optimised for lifting flat materials, while round materials can be handled at a working load limit of at least fifty percent of the flat material capacity, offering predictable and controlled lifting performance.
The robust steel housing protects the internal components and integrates the control and charging unit along with a maintenance-free 12 V battery. Its compact yet sturdy design allows the magnet to be used effectively in confined spaces while maintaining excellent lifting strength. A large, bolted lifting eye is fitted as standard and is suitable for load hooks according to the nominal load capacity.
Operational safety is enhanced by a safety switch connected to the crane eye, preventing accidental switching off during lifting. The integrated LED display provides clear indication of battery charge level, acoustic warning signals and switch lock status. The magnet can be operated either via infrared handheld remote control with a range of up to 4.5 metres or by push-buttons on the magnet itself.
