Sikkerheds Liner

Compared to dynamic ropes, semi-static ropes have a lower service elongation of a maximum of five percent. Dynamic ropes, on the other hand, have a much higher elongation in service because, in conjunction with a complete belay system, they have to absorb the free fall of, for example, a climber with a limited impact force. When selecting a suitable rope, therefore, the intended use in particular must be taken into account.
